I'd recommend using another laptop and then getting an ssd P If I were you, I'd opt for an ssd (since they're relatively cheap right now ) and just disregard the small ssd cache and it'll be faster than an ssd+hdd combo. I will say that you will have to bring a usb with you every time windows updates though (it updates frequently) and that may cause more trouble than it's worth. If you still plan on doing this though, I'd say from what I remember i don't think it'd be inherently bad to use this method. If you still have a chance to switch laptops, I'd recommend it. I tried to find the post I read last time but was unable to :( but basically some of the lenovo twist motherboards had an issue with not being very physically stable in one of the corners and when dropped/leaned on (the keyboard) have a good chance of breaking. Unfortunately I didn't really get to use it too much after, since I found out that the lenovo twist's motherboard actually was breaking (cracking) which was causing my boot errors and not the hard drive.
